Today is the day! If you’re reading this, it means you work in employee benefits—and if you work in benefits, today is all about YOU! National Employee Benefits Day (NEBD) is observed to honor the incredible work you do to help support the health, financial security and futures of your employees/plan participants.
This year’s NEBD theme centers on volunteering and giving back. Over the past few weeks, organizations across the U.S. and Canada have shared inspiring examples of their volunteer programs. Along the way, we’ve explored the health benefits of giving back, examined benchmarking data on volunteer-related benefits, highlighted creative volunteer ideas, and exchanged practical tips for expanding or building a successful volunteer program.
