At one time or another, we have all found ourselves embarking on a new role professionally. The joy of seeing hard work pay off is equally partnered with apprehension and excitement for what lies ahead. But what happens when you find yourself in great need of education to fulfill the duties of your new role?

"The International Foundation has been able to meet my needs as I have grown. First with basic education, then providing an understanding to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and now CEBS® as I prepare for an administration position." - Todd Thacker, CEBS

Like many of our members, Todd Thacker joined the International Foundation because of his need for education.  It was 1991 and he had just begun his role as a new trustee.  It didn’t take long in those early days for Todd to realize he had an urgent need for education. “Then and now,” said Todd, “the best way to get the education I need is through the International Foundation.”

And while the education Todd received may have been critical early on, it is still proving to be valuable as his career evolves. “The interesting thing about the International Foundation,” Todd says, “is that they have been able to meet my needs as I have grown. “

So, what would Todd say to someone considering a membership at the International Foundation? “If a person is serious about their job or trustee position, it is a logical choice.”
